Global Mental Health Discussions

Afrikindness was honoured to feature on Lagos Talks 91.3 FM as part of Today in Global Health (TiGH), an expert-led radio programme focused on raising awareness of global public health issues and promoting meaningful discussions on health and wellbeing.

Today in Global Health (TiGH) was established to increase public understanding of key health topics and encourage informed conversations on global health developments. The programme reaches over 2.3 million listeners across West Africa and international audiences through its weekly broadcasts.

During the programme, Afrikindness contributed to important discussions on mental health, wellbeing, parenting, neurodiversity, and culturally responsive support for families within African and ethnic minority communities. The conversation highlighted the importance of early intervention, community-based support, and creating safe spaces where families can access information, guidance, and support without stigma.
