Afrikindness is an award-winning charitable organisation dedicated to empowering children, young people, parents, and communities through education, safeguarding, neurodiversity awareness, racial identity development, mental health promotion, and culturally responsive community engagement. The organisation works in partnership with statutory agencies, schools, faith groups, and voluntary organisations to improve outcomes for families and build more inclusive communities.
Afrikindness was pleased to meet with Alex Sobel, Member of Parliament for Leeds Central and Headingley, and Councillor Helen Hayden, Executive Member for
Children and Families, for a constructive discussion on safeguarding, community
partnerships, and improving outcomes for children and families across Leeds.
Afrikindness successfully delivered a Safeguarding Training & Bullying Awareness session in
Bradford, bringing together parents, faith leaders, volunteers, and community members for
an important conversation on protecting children and creating safer communities.
