Afrikindness research team attended Research for All conference hosted by the Ethnic Minority Research Inclusion Group (EMRI), Yorkshire and Humber region

The second Research for All conference hosted by the Ethnic Minority Research Inclusion Group (EMRI) held on Thursday 16th March 2023 at the Hilton City Leeds, Neville Street, Leeds.

The conference had researchers in the health and care sector from across the UK and people from the Ethnic minority communities in Yorkshire and Humber region in attendance. 

The conference programme included:

Dr Mariya Tenebe, Deputy Research Director of Afrikindness said “Our focus in research is to identify ways to bridge the gap between research and communities, promote research relating to children’s mental well-being and race and disseminate research findings in the best way for public benefit. The ResearchForAll2 Conference gave us an opportunity to network with key stakeholders and researchers within the Yorkshire and Humber region. It was also great to hear about the amazing clinical research work, languages and dialect project and reverse mentoring scheme done by other organisations’’.
