Afrikindness – CPD Provider

Afrikindness is thrilled to announce that we are now a CPD-accredited training organisation! By the end of 2024, all of our standard training sessions will carry CPD accreditation, marking a major milestone in our commitment to providing high-quality, impactful training for parents, educators, community leaders, and organisations across the UK and beyond.

What CPD Accreditation Means

Achieving CPD accreditation underscores Afrikindness’ dedication to rigorous educational standards and lifelong learning. This “trust mark” is awarded to training providers who meet the requirements for Continuing Professional Development, and it signifies that our training courses and workshops offer practical, valuable learning experiences.

Every Afrikindness session has been carefully designed and reviewed to ensure relevance, accessibility, and effectiveness.

CEO’s Statement

Bunmi Owolabi, CEO Afrikindness, shared her excitement, saying, “This CPD accreditation is a testament to our commitment to delivering training that is truly transformative for families, communities, and organisations. We are excited to support the personal and professional growth of everyone who joins our sessions.

Community Empowerment Programme

Afrikindness launched the Community Empowerment Programme on August 24, 2024, with the Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor Abigail Marshall Katung officiating the event, proudly funded by the National Lottery Community Fund.

This programme includes a comprehensive set of seven modules, each designed to empower communities through training and education to support young people and address issues affecting them.

With partnerships including Voluntary Action Leeds (VAL) and faith-based and African community representatives, this programme is designed to foster growth, understanding, and social unity.
