Afrikindness is proud to announce the successful delivery of a highly engaging and transformative Teen Digital Skills Workshop, facilitated by Connor Moore, Social Value Executive from Quickline Communications.
The full-day session empowered young people with the knowledge, awareness, and confidence to navigate the digital world safely while exploring future career opportunities in the digital sector.
The workshop was interactive, practical, and youth-focused, incorporating quizzes, group discussions, real-life scenarios, and open conversations. It was fantastic to see our teens actively engage, ask questions, and reflect on their digital habits and aspirations.
The session covered five key modules:
- Introduction to Digital Skills
- Cyberbullying & Phishing
- Fake News & AI
- Sharing Information Online
- The importance of Screen Time.
- Digital Jobs of the Future.

In addition to building essential digital awareness, the workshop opened doors to exciting career pathways. We are pleased to share that Afrikindness has secured a Future Careers Insight – Virtual Work Experience opportunity with Quickline Communications for our young people.
The Quickline Future Careers Virtual Work Experience portal provides access to five key departments:
- Marketing
- Human Resources (HR)
- Engineering

- IT
This online experience offers valuable insight into real career pathways within the organisation and aligns with the Gatsby Benchmarks, supporting meaningful employer engagement and structured career development.
Participants who complete the virtual experience will receive certificates recognising their achievement. We will shortly be sharing full details with families on how to access the programme.
