This year, Afrikindness UK and KadaHive innovation tech hub Kaduna Nigeria launched the Earth Day Writing and Poster competition for all Nigerian students ages 8 – 25 years. It was launched to give young creative minds the platform to share innovative solutions to the challenges of our planet with a focus on Nigeria.
Kaduna State First Lady Hadiza El-Rufai led dignitaries to the inaugural Earth Day award ceremony and presented award certificates to the winners.
Councillor Abigail Marshall Katung gave the keynote speech about the need for literacy education and the importance of Earth Day in Nigeria. 25 years. It was launched to give young creative minds the platform to share innovative solutions to the challenges of our planet with a focus on Nigeria.
