Afrikindness is delighted to announce that it has been awarded one year of funding from the Leeds Community Foundation to deliver a pioneering community mental health programme focused on improving mental health outcomes for Black men and strengthening support for Black families across Leeds.
Leeds, UK – After twelve months of research, collaboration and youth leadership, Afrikindness proudly celebrated the successful completion of its pioneering youth-led research project, Race, Racism & Education.
Fifteen young people from communities across Leeds (LS7, LS8, LS9 and LS14) travelled to London this summer for an inspiring educational visit to the UK Parliament, as part of the Afrikindness Teens Academy Leadership Programme.
