The inaugural Colours of Africa Art Competition, held as part of Africa Awareness Week in England, celebrated creativity, cultural exploration, and diversity. Bempton Primary School emerged as the winner of the Primary School Category Colours of Africa Art Excellence Award
The Leeds community came together on Monday for a significant cause: raising awareness about mental health and autism sponsored by Leeds Community Foundation and Sir George Martin Trust.
The event, organised by Afrikindness, featured a 10km Walk for Mental Health followed by a Kids’ Bake Sale Fundraiser, and it was a resounding success.
This summer, Afrikindness orchestrated a symphony of positivity with the Summer of Kindness Challenge 2023, engaging children and young people in an enriching blend of activities during their summer break.
